Collection: Smocks & Ponchos

Oilskin you wear. Both of these started out as working garments. The Hall Poncho comes from the British Army's 1938 pattern cape, and doubles as a groundsheet with eyelets at each corner. The Mariner's Smock comes from the vareuse, the pull-on smock French fishermen and sailors worked in, and the blue work smocks worn ashore on the docks, in garages and by painters.

We've kept what made them useful and cut them from Australian oilskin, so they shed rain and spray, keep the wind out, and mark and soften the more they're worn. Made by hand in Tasmania, with free repairs for as long as you own them.
