Oilskin canvas mariners tote

Kohutt mariners tote, made from traditional oilskin canvas - featuring a front pocket, fully bound seams, sewn handles and a re-enforced base.

Oilskin fabric was historically used by sailors to create waterproof clothing & tarpaulins from old cotton canvas sails, dipped in a secret mix of oils. Australia is famous for its oilskin, with one of the last remaining factories still manufacturing in New South Wales.
